ADATA SE900G Portable Solid State Drive Review

One of the big features that came with Intel’s Z590 chipset was USB 3.2 gen 2×2 (20 Gbps) support directly from the chipset. That means that most Z590 motherboards will have at least one USB 3.2 gen 2×2 port. USB 3.2 gen 2×2 essentially doubles the speed (20 Gbps vs 10 Gbps) of USB 3.2 gen 2 so now external solid state drives will be speeds maxing out around 2000 MB/s! Today we are taking a look at one such drive in the ADATA SE900G, which not only is your typical portable solid state drive it also features some pretty cool RGB lighting! Let’s take a look and see what it can do!

Special thanks to ADATA for providing us with the SE900G External Solid State Drive to review.
