AMD assures Radeon mobile gaming laptops are Coming!

AMD already announced and launched the AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile CPUs a month ago. It also has been showcasing the RX 5600M and the RX 5700M mobile graphics since January. The company was all set to make its move towards the gaming notebook market. But as we are all aware, this turned out to be more of a paper launch due to the COVID-19 outbreak result in industry-wide slowdown or shutdown in most countries.

AMD confirms widespread availability

But the Chief Architect of Gaming Solutions at AMD said via Twitter that we’ll see sub $1,000- $1,500 gaming notebook segment with the new generation CPUs. Thanks to its increased memory capacity, these will be paired with 3200MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM memory. As you’d expect, AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile CPUs based gaming notebooks looks to be a better choice than Intel mobile CPU offerings. It is just held behind due to the understandable delay.

But despite that, Frank Azor says they’ll make it happen.

In the gaming notebook business, AMD is expected to have an upper hand. Asus showed-off it is ROG Zephyrus G14 which has the Ryzen 9 4900HS mobile CPU with the RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics. Newegg listed a variant of ROG G15 variant with Ryzen 7 4800HS, GTX 1660Ti, 15.6″ 144Hz monitor and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD for $1,300. This is ready for sale.

Since there’s one available on retail. It is just a matter of week for multiple online vendors and brands to have its variants sold wherever possible.

You can pre-order the MSI Bravo 15 and 17 gaming notebook via Newegg. These are all AMD- starting with Ryzen 5 4600H mobile CPUs with Radeon RX 5500M graphics. The 17-inch variant which costs for 1,099$ equipped with Ryzen 7 4800H and Radeon RX 5500M. So its all good!
