AMD Fiji Officially Shown at Computex

AMD’s CEO Lisa Su unveiled the companies next flagship graphics processor at AMD’s press event at Computex 2015. She literally pulled the chip out of her pocket to show everyone. Taking a closer look at the chip we can see that it will be one of the biggest GPU packages to date at 50 mm x 50 mm.

We can now confirm four 1024-bit HBM1 stacks that surround the GPU die on the package. This clearly points to towards a 4GB configuration. It is interesting that AMD did not show off the card completely. I mean even if they are officially announcing it in two weeks many people want to see the actual card. AMD Fiji, which is now known as Radeon Fury is set to launch on June 16th.
