AMD RDNA2 Big Navi Radeon RX 6000 reference design revealed through Fortnite

We have been hearing more and more about AMD’s upcoming cards since NVIDIA announced the RTX 3000 series. AMD had recently revealed that it will be unveiling the RDNA2 a.k.a. Big Navi generation of cards on 28th October. For now, AMD has hit us with a reference design reveal in an amusing manner — via Fortnite.

AMD has revealed the Radeon RX 6000 reference design through a Creative mode island in Fortnite that lets you closely inspect a 3D render of the card. The card sports a triple-fan dual-slot design, with absolutely gigantic and magnificent high-airflow fans, with webbed impellers. You also get to see an aluminum fin-stack heatsink. Check out the in-game screenshots, and a video by Anshel Sag showing the Creative mode island in its full glory:

The card has two 8-pin power inputs, with two DisplayPorts, one HDMI, and one USB C. It looks like AMD might have bit the bullet and put in Thunderbolt into this card with an Intel Cactus Ridge controller. We will find out when AMD reveals the card officially, on October 38.
