AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 9 5900X CPU benchmark leak shows massive single thread performance gains

AMD recently unveiled its Ryzen 3000 series of CPUs, and they promise a huge performance boost. With the CPUs expected to come out soon, we’re now seeing a few leaks with details of chips. We now have AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 9 5900X benchmarks, and they show a huge performance boost.

The benchmarks come from Geekbench 5, and leaker TUM_APISAK tweeted them out:

The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X scored 1575 points in single-threaded, and 13,605 points in multi-threaded tests. On the other hand, the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X scored 1605 points in single-threaded, and 12,869 points in multi-threaded tests. Both chips were running at around 5 GHz.

The Ryzen 5950X is showing a 20% performance boost in single-thread, and 10% in multi-thread performance, in comparison to the Ryzen 9 3950X of the previous generation, which is a massive boost. The AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is showing gains of between 20-25% in single-thread and 6-8% in multi-thread, in comparison to the Ryzen 9 3900X.

Well, it looks like these chips are all set to be the new performance beasts for users looking to get the most out of their systems. Thoughts? Hit us up in the comments, down below!
