ASUS Introduces the New Chromebox 4 Powered By 10th Generation Intel Processors

ASUS announces its latest Chrome OS-based device, Chromebox 4. This compact device is perfect for both personal or work purposes. The Chromebox 4 features Intel’s 10th Generation processors or Celeron processors. It also features 8 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM. As for storage, users have the option to choose a 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage drive or a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD. The Chromebox 4 can support a maximum of 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the front of the box features two USB 3.2 ports and a single SD card slot for easy storage expansion. This allows for easy connection to a wide array of devices. The back of the box features two HDMI ports, three USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, a single Type-C port, and a single RJ45 port allowing for a wired connection.

The Chromebox runs on Chrome OS; hence it can provide access to a wide array of Android apps.

As per ASUS, the Chromebox will be launched in December 2020 in North America only, ASUS hasn’t provided a specific date. It will carry a starting price tag of $289.
