BIOSTAR reveals new B550MH motherboard

With new AMD 3000XT released, and AMD 4000 series processors on the way, it’s a good time for manufacturers to make some additions to their lineup of compatible hardware. BIOSTAR has done just that and revealed its new motherboard, the B550MH.

The B550MH is built for AMD, around the A4 socket with the B550 chipset. The motherboard supports up to 64 GB of RAM in two DIMMs with support for 4400+(OC). It also supports PCIe 4.0, and PCIe M.2 4.0 standards, so you have lower latency and higher bandwidth available. The BIOSTAR B550MH is as well equipped as the motherboards of its segment get. There is also support for USB 3.2 Gen1 .

BIOSTAR has also equipped this motherboard with something it calls Super LAN Surge Protection. Basically, there is an extra chip to ensure current surges from LAN don’t fry your whole motherboard. The onboard HDMI port also supports 4K resolution.

Other ports on the BIOSTAR B550MH include the usual three-way 3.5mm audio ports, two USB 2.0 ports in addition to the four 4 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. There is also a VGA port provided, along with the two legacy PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse.

This motherboard makes a decent offering for Ryzen builds. Pricing and availability details are not known as of now, but we expect BIOSTAR to reveal those details soon. You can check the BIOSTAR website for more information.
