Cooler Master MasterKeys MK750 Keyboard Review

As has been stated many times by us, 2017 has been the year of RGB. Lately, it seems as if there is not a week that goes by without a new product being announced that features RGB lighting of some form. Nearly every component of a PC build supports this latest trend, and Cooler Master has just released their latest RGB product, the MasterKeys MK750 keyboard. The MK750 features a slim profile outline to keep the full size of this keyboard in check, while an aluminum top plate ensures a solid build. With Cherry MX switches and customizable RGB lighting, the MK750 looks to be a solid offering, so lets dive in and take a closer look.

Special thanks to Cooler Master for supplying us with the MK750 review sample!

Packaging

The MasterKeys MK750 comes to us in a nice black box with a large and glossy image of the keyboard on the front. A bit of Cooler Master branding and product information is found out front, and the image of the keyboard does a good job showing off the minimalist design and lighting features.

Around back we get another view of the keyboard, along with a few breakout boxes listing a few of the key features found on the MK750. Overall, very nice packaging that would stand out well in a retail setting.

MK750 Box2

An all black box is contained within the fancy exterior packaging, and opens up to reveal the removable wristrest and a nicely protected keyboard.

Cooler Master chose to go with a USB Type C removable cable design on the MK750, and this cable comes bundled with a few other accessories and a standard product manual covering the on-board lighting controls and warranty information.

Nine additional double-shot PBT keycaps are included, along with a keypulling tool. The nine keycaps are available for the following keys: ESC, W, A, S, D, Up, Down, Left, and Right. These PBT keycaps feature slightly thicker walls and a double layer design for added quality compared to standard keycaps.
