Here Are Details For The Intel NUC 12 “Serpent Canyon” with Arc A770M GPU

Intel’s upcoming mini gaming PC has been codenamed as the Serpent Canyon and has finally been revealed. This reveal comes as the biggest upgrade in the NUC series to date. The Serpent Canyon will be a successor to the Phantom canyon and will come with Intel’s 14-core Core i7-12700H processor along with the Arc A770M discrete GPU. For comparison’s sake, the Phantom Canyon was based on the Core i7-1165G7 quad-core CPU and came with the NVIDIA RTX 2060 graphics.

Moving to the specs in more detail, the Serpent Canyon’s i7-12700H CPU comes with a total of 14 cores and 20 threads. To be more specific, it has 6 Performance cores and 8 efficient cores. The clock speed of the CPU stands at 4.7 GHz and has a 24 MB of cache. This particular Alder Lake-H SKU is becoming quite popular among gaming laptops and rightly so.

There has been a noticeable upgrade in the graphics too with a jump from RTX 2060 of 12 GB memory to Arc A770M GPU with its full ACM-G10 processor featuring a total of 32 Xe-Cores and a GDDR6 memory of 16 GB. This choice is the top of the line of Intel’s latest Alchemist mobile series.

There is a front panel on the device with an SDXC card slot which extends support for the UHS-II standard. It comes with a Thunderbolt 4 connector, USB 3.2 Type-A connectors, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Moving on to the rear panel, we have four USB Type A connectors. Additionally, there is the Intel 2.5G Ethernet interface, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 interfaces, and another Thunderbolt 4 connector.

So far we have no news regarding the release as the active thread on Baidu mentions no particular date. All we know is that it will be ‘available soon’.
