HyperX ProCast XLR Microphone Review

HyperX entered the microphone market back in 2019 with their Quadcast USB microphone and we were quite impressed when we took a look at it. Over the past year we’ve seen a few different gaming companies venture into the XLR realm, which is typically reserved for more professional devices and dominated by the likes of Rode, Sure, and Audio Technica. Well today we are taking a look at HyperX’s first XLR microphone, the ProCast. As the name suggests the microphone is more geared towards professionals and features a gold-sputtered large diaphragm condenser capsule and comes with an included anti-vibration shock mount and pop filter. Is this the microphone to take your audio game to the next level? Read on to find out!

Special thanks to HyperX for providing us with the ProCast XLR Microphone to review.

Getting everything out of the box we have the Procast microphone, shock mount, pop filter, and a quick start guide. It is pretty interesting that this microphone does not come with any sort of stand.
