Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 confirmed to get VR support in a future update

We have been talking about Microsoft’s revival of one of its greatest games, the Microsoft Flight Simulator. With Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 set to arrive soon, the game is bound to bring old fans back, and now it seems like it will be even better than we expected. Microsoft has just confirmed VR support for the game. Read on!

The game recently entered closed beta, with a release set for August 18th. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is also up on Steam for preorder. The game will have three different versions with a ton of detailed features like complete airports for you to navigate, but Microsoft has one more feature for us — VR support. Microsoft has confirmed it will ship VR support to the game in a future update.

The game will get this update in Fall 2020. All Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) headsets will support the game, with support for more platforms and headsets coming in the future. Microsoft has said it will support TrackIR motion tracking system at launch.
