Today we will be taking a look at Patriot’s Viper VP4100 drive which is based of the Phison E16 controller and Toshiba 96-layer 3D TLC NAND, offering read and write speeds of 5000 MB/s and 4400 MB/s respectively. The Patriot Viper VP4100 comes in a nice retail on the box. On the front there is a picture of the drive and it lets us know the speed as well as the capacity. Patriot offers the VP4100 in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities. Flipping over to the back we have some specifications on the drive listed in a handful of different languages.

The front of the box sort of opens like a book so you can get a good look at the drive and there is more information about the drive. Getting everything out of the box all we have is the drive itself.
