Patriot Viper VPR100 RGB Solid State Drive Review

Today we are checking out a product that we first saw all the way back at CES 2019! When it comes to M.2 solid state drives and showing them off we really haven’t seen all that much except for different heatsink designs. Well Patriot is changing all of that with their Viper VPR100 which is a PCI-Express 3.0 NVMe M.2 solid state drive that features RGB lighting. This adds that extra bling to your system as well as allowing you to show off your M.2 drive. The VPR100 makes use of the Phison E12 controller and Toshiba 3D TLC NAND to give you sequential speeds of 3300 MB/s read and 2900 MB/s write. Read on as we take a look…

Special thanks to Patriot for providing us with the Viper VPR100 RGB Solid State Drive to review.

The front of the retail box sort of opens up like a book to reveal the drive and give you even more information on it. Flipping over to the back there is small list of specifications in a handful of languages.
