XFX Launches RX Vega 64 and 56 Double Edition Graphics Cards

XFX teased these cards not that long ago and now they are finally here! Let’s just say these card are a long time coming, well all custom Radeon RX Vega card are! The two new cards are called the XFX Double Editions and have a very unique look that you are either going to love or hate.

The graphics cards will have a shroud that is sort of the shape of an “X” with a recess in the center that separates that two cooling fans. This design is definitely not something we’ve seen before. The cards two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors sit right in the center of the card, which is also different. THis is made possible as the PCB of the card is pretty short, with the fan shroud extending far past the PCB.

It is interesting that the Vega 64 version has only two 8-pin power connectors as we’ve seen other custom Vega 64 cards with three. This is likely because the cards are running at stock speeds, 1247 MHz base, 1546 MHz Boost for the RX Vega 64, and 1156 MHz base, 1471 MHz Boost for the Vega 56.
