Yes you read that correctly, you can now mine cryptocurrency with your body! A Dutch startup has developed a body suit that harvests the excess heat generated by your body and mines cryptocurrency with it. This means that even if you are laying down, or sleeping your body is generating money. This sounds a lot like the Matrix!
So how much money can you really make from this? Well there were 37 workers who put in about 212 hours of “work” between them and harvested 127,210 milliwatts of electricity. This generated 16,954 coins in total, with 80% of the cryptocurrency earnings going to the Dutch startup.
Is this the future? Could we all be wearing body suits to mine cryptocurrency? I guess only time will tell…
