llano has introduced the llano V12 Ultra Laptop Cooler, a cooling pad aimed at larger gaming laptops. The new model pairs a 5.5-inch turbo fan with Myth.cool software, a three-port USB 3.0 hub and a removable dust filter, and it is built for laptops from 15.6 to 19 inches running Windows.
Gaming laptops squeeze powerful CPUs and GPUs into thin bodies, so heat builds up quickly under long sessions. The llano V12 Ultra tackles this with a turbo fan that spins at up to 2,800 RPM. A memory foam seal sits between the pad and the laptop so the airflow is pushed into the bottom intakes rather than escaping around the edges. In its own lab testing, llano says the cooler can lower CPU and GPU temperatures by up to 22°C within 90 seconds. Control comes from Myth.cool, which makes the V12 Ultra a laptop cooling pad with fan control software. The software offers AI Low, Medium and High modes that adjust fan speed to the laptop’s workload, plus custom and manual settings. It also shows live CPU and GPU temperature, load and memory usage, and it controls the RGB lighting. Myth.cool works with Windows 10 (64-bit) and above. Users who prefer hardware control can use the scroll wheel on the cooler. Fan noise is rated at around 27 dB at low speed and about 70 dB at the 2,800 RPM maximum, so the AI mode is the quieter choice for everyday use.
