MSI is Working on a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z

MSI is not done releasing GeForce RTX 2080 Ti cards as they are working on a new flagship, which will be the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z. This card will sit at the top of MSI's RTX 20 Series product stack above the current Gaming X Trio, as well as the liquid-cooled SeaHawk series.

Gigabyte Intros New DDR4 Memory Modules

Gigabyte has expanded their DDR4 offerings with a new kit, which lacks the AORUS branding or RGB lighting. This new kit is simply called "Gigabyte Memory 2666MHz", and is a 16 GB (2x 8GB) kit running at DDR4-2666 with timings of 16-16-16-35 timings, at 1.2 Volts.

Intel’s 28-core Beast is the Xeon W-3175X

At Intel's event yesterday they also spent no time at all showing off their upcoming 28-core chip, the Xeon W-3175X, which is aimed at the professional workstation segment. This chip is very similar to the one that we saw at Computex, it has 28 cores, 56 threads, a base frequency of 3.1 GHz and a boost up to 4.3 GHz.

Intel Also Announces 9th Gen Core-X Family

Besides the announcement of the Core i9-9900K and 9th generation Core mainstream desktop processors, Intel also announced their 9th generation Core-X HEDT family for the X299 chipset and LGA2066 socket. All of these chips are being fabbed on 14nm++ nodes.
