NVIDIA Titan Xp Taken Apart – Shows GP102-450 GPU

Someone who went ahead and purchased the NVIDIA Titan Xp graphics card decided to take it apart to swap out the cooler for an AiO liquid cooler and took some photos of the card taken apart. The photos give us a closer took at the reference PCB as well as the GP-102-450 GPU.

NVIDIA Announces The New TITAN Xp

When NVIDIA announced the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti it pretty much cannibalized the TITAN X Pascal. In doing so NVIDIA needed something faster to sell at their $1200 price point. Well without really saying much about it they have launched the new TITAN Xp, and in doing so have discontinued the TITAN X Pascal. The new TITAN Xp feature all of the 3840 CUDA cores than are on the GP102 silicon, all 240 TMUs, all 96 ROPs, and 12 GB of faster 11.4 Gbps GDDR5X memory over the full 384-bit wide memory interface.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti To Arrive In Late March

Last week we talked about the possibility of NVIDIA announcing the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti at their "NVIDIA GeForce GTX Gaming Celebration" even on the 28th and this is still a possibility. While NVIDIA might announce or show the card at this event Nordic Hardware has new information that the card will arrive towards the end of March.

NVIDIA Drops The Brand New Pascal-Powered Titan X!

NVIDIA has just dropped their new consumer flagship single-chip graphics card, the new GeForce GTX Titan X. It seems that NVIDIA is keeping the same naming scheme, not naming card the Titan P or something like that. Last night at an artificial intelligence meet-up at Stanford University, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun announced and then proceeded to give away a few of these new Pascal-based Titan X GPUs.
