One chassis, two fan configurations
The S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe use the same 482 × 210 × 423 mm chassis, with support for ATX, microATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. NZXT has fitted the front and left side with tempered glass, while a steel mesh panel provides side intake. Removable filters cover the top and bottom openings, and the panels are designed to come off without tools.
The standard S5 RGB includes a single-frame 360 mm RGB reverse-blade fan on the side. Its three 120 mm fans share one frame, reducing cable clutter while displaying the cleaner-looking reverse blades through the glass.
The Deluxe adds a 120 mm reverse-blade fan in the angled bottom mount and a standard 120 mm rear fan. Both models’ included fans use 4-pin PWM power and 5 V ARGB lighting connectors.
Cooling and component clearance
NZXT’s layout directs bottom intake toward the graphics card, including from an angled fan mount aimed at the GPU. The cases support up to ten fan mounts, a radiator up to 360 mm at the top and a 120 mm radiator at the rear. Maximum clearances are 415 mm for a graphics card, 162 mm for a CPU cooler and 200 mm for a power supply.
The chassis has a listed volume of 42.8 liters. The S5 RGB weighs 6.14 kg, while the additional fans bring the Deluxe to 6.44 kg. Front I/O includes one USB-C port, two USB-A ports and a headset jack.
Pricing and availability
Both cases are offered in all-black or all-white versions and carry a two-year warranty. NZXT lists the S5 RGB at $49.99 in the Americas and Asia-Pacific, €59.90 in EMEA and £49.90 in the UK. The S5 RGB Deluxe is priced at $59.99, €69.90 and £59.90 in those respective regions.
NZXT announced the cases for availability through authorized retailers on September 22, 2026. The $10 step up to the Deluxe buys two additional RGB fans while keeping the same chassis and hardware clearances—an option for builders who want more cooling installed from the start.
