AMD 4000 series APUs have been released in an OEM-assembled systems-only capacity, with desktop chips available to consumers later this year. However, now the Ryzen 4000 series chips have been spotted on sale in the grey market. Read on!
It looks like some folks in Thailand have managed to get their hands on bulk packages of the chips and are now selling them off on eBay and other sales channels. The SKUs being sold are Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G, Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G and Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G. Here are the prices in USD:
AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G = ~$185
AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G = ~$255
AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G = ~$395
Of course, these will be very limited in number, and you would be lucky to get one at these prices right now. We expect the stocks to deplete quickly, and the prices will likely skyrocket for the remaining few units.
