AMD Radeon RX 3080 XT to offer RTX 2070 Performance for $330

Earlier today we told you about the Radeon RX 3090 XT, but it seems the AMD rumors are flying and we have information on the Radeon RX 3080 XT, which will launch at E3 2019! According to the latest reports AMD is prepping the Radeon RX 3080 XT for E3 2019, it will feature the Navi 10 GPU which is on the 7nm node. The card will have 56 compute units and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Performance is said to be close to NVIDIA’s Turning-based GeForce RTX 2070 and the really interesting this is that the card is said to be launching at $330.

If this turns out to be true it could really shake up the GPU market. NVIDIA is selling their GeForce RTX 2070 for $599, which means you could get this card from AMD for around $269 less. In the past AMD cards might have been cheaper, but not by that much. NVIDIA might have to drop prices of their already over-priced RTX cards if this turns out to be true.

I also like the idea of the 3000 series naming, if they keep it in tandem with their CPU launches.
