Two new Ryzen 2000 series processors have shown up in Geekbench, these are the Ryzen 5 2500X and Ryzen 3 2300X. To start things off the Ryzen 5 2500X has a base clock of 3.6 GHz and boosts up to 4.0 GHz. This chip will feature SMT.
The Ryzen 3 2300X runs at a base clock of 3.5 GHz base and boost up to 4.0 GHz. This processor however does not have SMT, so you only have 4 cores and 4 threads. Since both of these chips have the “X” suffix they offer both Precision Boost XFR.
