Final Thoughts
I’ve used a handful of monitor mounts / monitor arms and I have to say the Arctic Z2-3D is one of my favorites. In general if you have more than one monitor or your desk space is limited it is a great idea to invest in a monitor arm. They lift your monitor up off the desk and allow for easy adjustment.
The Arctic Z2-3D is a dual monitor arm which supports screens up to 27-inches and a total of 35.2 lbs. It also gives you tilt, swivel, and rotation adjustment. There are only a few monitors out there that offer that type of adjustment with their stands.
The Z2-3D also comes with a 4-port powered USB hub. This makes connecting your keyboard, and mouse much easier, and if you need to plug in a flash drive or other USB device it is right there.
When it comes to installation things are not that bad. It look me about 30 minutes to get everything installed correctly. I really like that this monitor arm has the extension arms, which give you more flexibility. I also feel very confident in this monitor arm, I do not feel like it is going to fail and my monitor come crashing down.
