Well since we are going to be installing the ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 to get the system up and running I decided what better case to install it into than the NZXT Vulcan MATX case. So the first thing I had to do was to uninstalled the other motherboard, and then I made sure all the cables where routed and hidden in the case . Since I will be using the stock AMD X6 1090t Cooler, and since it is a pain to put I choose to do so before putting the ASUS board into the case. So I installed the processor and cooler and then put the ASUS M4A88TD-M into the case. After this was all completed I put the motherboard into the case, mounted and screwed it in.
Next I installed the memory. The top latches for the memory are right on the edge of the board so if your installing this motherboard in a tight fit case you might have some problems , in my case I just moved the fan blade and I was about to make sure they were properly snug into their slots.
Now after getting the memory in I ran the SATA cables and plugged in all the power connectors for the ASUS motherboard. l also made sure all the cables where plugged into the hard drives.
After all that was completed I installed my ATI 5970. I didn’t have any issues installing the graphics card at all.
