The game Destiny 2 has been around since 2017 and it’s still going strong. Some might think that it’s too late to get into it but that couldn’t be further from the truth. From the newbies to the vets, there’s always something to do within the game.

Keep reading to learn how you can get the most out of this highly-rated gaming adventure.

About the Game

The release of the new expansion pack is sure to bring a slew of people back to the game. No experience with the game should not be an excuse not to play. Set in a distant future, when humans have colonized the solar system, there are many factions that are fighting for control of the galaxy, from the Vanguards to the Variks.

On top of the existing planet destinations, many new maps have been added to the game as well as returning ones. These include:

  • Vostok returning from the content vault will give a lot of vet players nostalgia.
  • Europa is one of the oldest planets in the game. Its concept art was released in the game’s first iteration but it wasn’t officially added until Destiny 2.
  • Eternity was released when the game first came out but vaulted later on. Now, it makes its return!

You play as a space pirate in this loot-based game. Finding a lot of weapons, armors, and other items that you can collect will open up more gaming and strategizing possibilities. This allows you to be able to level up your characters’ stats and abilities.

Playing the game, you’ll notice that it encourages you to chat with other players and make friends while teaming up together. Here are things to look forward to in the game:

  • Exclusive gears. The rarity of the gears ranges from the lowest which is rare to exotic being the best. Don’t let the rarity scare you, though. Even if the gear isn’t at a high level, that shouldn’t stop you from using your favorite.
  • High character customization. You can easily change your character’s appearance, weapons, and armor.
  • Exciting events. The game has plenty of events for you to participate in as well. There are events or quests known as raids that give you a chance to acquire weapons after completing them.

Destiny 2 is a game that forces you to grind. This means that you might have to do a quest multiple times to get the gear that you want or to get the right rarity. But if doing the same quests doesn’t sound good to you, Destiny 2 boost can save you some time and energy.

The main reason why Destiny 2 is still going strong is the great community that’s been formed around the game. Countless players are continuing to understand and join each and every day.

Characters/Gameplay

Destiny 2 allows you to play as a Hunter, Warlock, or Titan. You can also find different items and weapons that are unique to each class. Even so, you have the option to play the game solo or with a friend. Don’t be afraid to add them to your party so that you can make your marks in the Crucible together.

If you haven’t tried anything of this sort before, you’d be glad to know that this game doesn’t have a steep learning curve. It allows you to use either a controller or a mouse and keyboard to play the game. Plus, you can start off by playing on the easier difficulty levels and slowly work your way up to the more challenging ones.

You’ll find that the first few missions are pretty easy, allowing you to progress through the game even within the first hour of playing. If you prefer, you can start a game with bots. But be warned: the game becomes very challenging as you progress. You’ll be fighting other players, bosses, and even raid bosses.

The bosses include the Black Knight, the Iron Council, and the Cabal, all of which come with their own unique set of gear that is obtainable after their defeat. You’ll quickly find that it’s much easier to defeat the bosses if you work in groups.

Game Options

Feel like hosting your own lobby with only your friends? Look no further, as Destiny 2 allows that as well. After getting your gears, using the private mode allows you to set up your own crucible game mode and get to work.

There are a variety of game types, ranging from team deathmatch to capture the flag. To say that private matches give you full control of the mode you want to play is an understatement.

You can choose not only the time limit but also the score limit. The same goes for your respawn time and your ability to switch between teams before you respawn. Truly, this is an amazing game, and by following our guide, you can maximize your gains during your first hours of playing.
