Bykski is one of the biggest water block brands in China. They have just released what might be one of the coolest-looking water blocks we have seen in a long time! The GPU water block is made specifically for Colorful’s iGame GTX 1080 XTOP and iGame GTX1070 XTOP.
The Bykski FR-N-IG1080 water block is a full-cover block with a nickel-plate. This block provides cooling for the GPU, RAM, and VRM as water flows directly over these critical areas. On the top cover there is a Colorful logo with a dragon. One thing that is really appealing with this water block is the red color on the top of the block and the back-plate.
Another cool thing is that there are “windows” which will show off the coolant in certain areas of the card rather than just being an all-clear block. The card will be on sale in regions where you can purchase Colorful graphics cards. The suggest retail price is $139.
I have their GPU block which is “universal” for high end nvidia cards from 470 to 1080 that use 60mm mounts and “classic” GPU memory layoot. It does not provide vrm cooling, I have a separate vrm block for that. The build quality is very good (through not perfect). The main concern is the weight of the block – it’s huge. IMHO, the one I have is an excellent product with affordable price tag ~50$. The price of full cover block is too high and it’s value is low since it’s limited to one card.
