RipjawsZ Overview
The RipjawsZ quad channel kit is made up of four 4GB modules. These modules use G.Skill’s newer aggressive black heatspreaders.
The heatspreaders are a little bit larger than low-profile heatspreaders, but are smaller than many of the heatspreaders than we see on high performance memory kits. G.Skill has gone with a black PCB on the modules to match the heatspreaders.
On one side of the modules is a RipjawsZ logo sticker. On the other side is a sticker that has all of the information about the kit. It tells is that this is the F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH kit, running at DDR-2133 speeds, has timings of 9-11-10-28 and runs at 1.65V.
