Intel launches the 10-core Core i9-10850K at $453

Intel is currently in the process of releasing multiple chips. While its 7nm plans were recently announced to be delayed, Intel is still on track for multiple future releases. One such release has now happened. Intel has just launched the Core i9-10850K.

The Core i9-10850K is a 10-core, 20-thread chip that sits a bit lower than the i9 flagship chip, i9-10900K. The Comet Lake chip has the clock set at 3.6 GHz, with the boost going over 5 GHz up to 5.3 GHz, and a TDP of 125W. It is still based on the 14nm process. We have had several leaks about this chipset over the past few weeks, and now it is fully official.

The Core i9-10850K is priced at $453 and is going to be available in retail. The $453 price tag is the bulk pricing, and individual units in retail will cost slightly more. Retail boxed variants are expected to arrive in the coming weeks, but availability may be scarce.
