Testing
To test the IdeaPad we ran the normal Sandra tests. To compare the S10-2, we put it up against the original S10, which has basically the same hardware inside. Here are the specs for both systems.

As you can see they are basically identical, now onto the tests!

I also did an HD video test, testing the Tron Legacy movie trailer in 480p, 720p, and 1080p. All tests were conducted with Apple’s QuickTime player. Here were the results…
480p: smooth flawless playback
720p: smooth playback, but some jitters
1080p: jittery playback with many skipped frames.
