Chronos Deluxe Overview
The Chronos Deluxe looks like pretty much every other 2.5-inch solid state drive that we have reviewed in the past. It has a metal exterior to protect the components inside. On the front there is a stick that lets you know this is a 240GB version and has the model number, which is MKNSSDCR240GB-DX7.

Flipping the drive over there are 4 mounting holes on the bottom to mount the drive in your case. Like all SATA drives you have both SATA power and data connections. There are also 2 mounting holes on each side of the drive.

On the side of the drive there are 2 very small screws. If you remove them you can take a look inside the drive. When you pull the top off the drive you can see the PCB inside. Right off the bat you can see eight of the Toshiba toggle mode NAND chips.

There are 4 more screws you need to remove to completely take the PCB out of the drive. Taking the PCB out and flipping it over we can see this drive is powered by the SandForce SF-2281 controller chip and there are eight more Toshiba NAND chips giving you 16 total.
