NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti & RTX 3070 Ti to be Announced May 31st, Will Launch in June

It looks like NVIDIA’s RTX 3080 Ti announcement has been pushed back two weeks. It was originally supposed to be May 18th, but the new date is set to May 31st. It also appears that NVIDIA will announce both the RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3070 Ti on the same day, although review days for these will be separate. Reviews of the RTX 3080 Ti will go live on June 2nd, while reviews of the RTX 3070 Ti will go live June 9th.

Official product launch dates are unknown at this point, but typically they are the same day as the review embargo lift or the day after.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

As far as specs go the RTX 3080 Ti will make use of the GA102-225 GPU with 10240 CUDA cores enabled. It will offer 12GB of GDDR6X memory, which is 2GB more than the RTX 3080, but it will run through a wider bus of 384-bit.

The RTX 3070 Ti on the other hand will fully max out the GA104-400 silicon with 6144 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6X memory.
