AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Driver Details Leaked

Details of AMD's yearly major software update to their driver suite has been leaked to the web. If you remember AMD released Catalyst Omega in 2014 and Crimson Edition in 2015, now for 2016 this release is being called "Crimson ReLive". The major update is said to bring a lot of features and performance improvements across the board.

AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.2 Released

AMD has just released its latest Radeon Crimson Edition drivers. These are version 16.4.2 and they bring with them updated CrossFire profiles for "Elite Dangerous" and "Need for Speed" (2016). The driver also introduces full support for AMD XConnect Technology, which is the use of an external graphics card dock. The are also critical bug fixes for "The Division", "Steam VR Performance assessment", "Hitman" (2016) with CrossFire, and "Fallout 4" with CrossFire.

AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.1

AMD has just released the latest version of their Radeon Software Crimson Edition. Version 16.4.1 will come with optimizations for "Quantum Break", with up to 35 percent higher performance seen on a machine running the Radeon R9 Fury X, compared to the previous 16.3.2 version of the driver. The new drivers also provide software support for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets.

AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.3

AMD has just released the latest version of Radeon Software Crimson Edition. This is the software suite made for AMD's Radeon GPUs and iGPUs. This new version (16.3) brings improved performance to "Rise of Tomb Raider" on Radeon R9 Fury X series GPUs by up to 16 percent (compared to version 16.2), and for "Gears of War Ultimate Edition" by as high as 60 percent on the R9 Fury X series (compared to version 16.2.1), and by up to 44 percent on Radeon R9 380 series (compared to version 16.2.1).
