ASRock has just launched a micro-ATX variant of its flagship socket LGA1151 motherboard that is targeted at professional overclockers. It is the Z170M OC Formula, but unlike most Z170 motherboard it only has two DDR4 DIMM slots. This is because ASRock wanted to use the extra space for stronger electrical components. The board features a 14-phase VRM for the CPU and a 2-phase VRM for the memory. It draws power from a combination of 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors.
