Vince “K|ngp|n” Lucido has posted the first photo of EVGA’s very first AMD chipset-based motherboard, the X570S DARK. All the post says is “The red pill.” and the photo is of the back of the motherboard which has a pretty awesome DARK logo with the AMD Ryzen circle around it.
Looking at the back of the board some things are pretty obvious. The first is that CPU socket is not at its normal orientation, instead it is rotated 90-degrees, likely for optimized extreme cooling. We can also only see two DIMM slots, which we can assume are single channel. The board appears to get power via 24-pin ATX, dual 8-pin EPS, and a 6-pin PCIe power. For expansion slots there are two PCI-Express 4.0 x16 slots and just one x1 slot. Connectivity looks to include 20 Gbps USB 3.2 gen 2×2, WiFi+Bluetooth and two wired Ethernet connection.
