49″ Super Ultra-Wide Samsung CRG9 First Seen At CES 2019

Though not the first 49″ Dual QHD screen we have seen at CES 2019, it is the worlds first HDR1000 monitor with a Dual QHD resolution. The HDR1000 rating means brighter images, and a 95% CDI-P3 rating ensures colors are much more accurate.

With a resolution of 5120 x 1440, the CRG9’s 32:9 aspect ratio is like having two 27-inch QHD monitors side by side, giving you a ton of detail in a single panel; no bezel in the center disrupting your view. FreeSync 2 support is present, and the 120Hz refresh rate will allow gamers to have a silky smooth experience. Helping with gaming immersion is the curved layout of the CRG9, as the monitor sports an 1800R curve.

Additional specifications include a joystick control for easy on-screen menu navigation, a single HDMI port, dual DisplayPort connections, five USB 3.0 ports, and a headphone jack. Unfortunately we don’t have any pricing or availability just yet, but we hope to see this monitor sooner than later.
