This past weekend we were invited to the grand opening of Cooler Master’s new North American headquarters and their “Thermal Excellence Live” celebration. This was actually quite a cool event to bring the PC building community together with a bunch of different experiences and product demos. We were able the go hands-on with some of Cooler Master’s latest and unreleased products.
Cooler Master MasterFrame Series Cases
One of the main showcases of the event was a breakdown of the new MasterFrame series cases, with the showpiece being the MasterFrame 600. The way the MasterFrame cases work is they are made up of an aluminum frame and then each section of the case is modular, so you can design the interior of the case how you like. This is made possible by the rail system that is part of the case itself.
To show this functionality and different configurations they had two builds on display by Liquid Haus. The MasterFrame 600 will support up to E-ATX motherboards, a 420mm radiator, and graphics cards as long as 485mm. The MasterFrame 600 is currently available for $199.99.
Cooler Master Qube 540
Cooler Master was calling this case their Cube 500 Core back at Computex, but the name has now changed to the Qube 540. It is of course a follow up to the original Qube 500 DIY case. The cool thing about this case is that Cooler Master will be providing 3D printing files to make your own accessories for the case. The way this works is each panel (except the glass side panel) has these large circular holes where you can mount different things. I really opens the possibilities of what you can do with this case. The case will support ATX motherboards and should be available in November for $69.99.
Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Panorama S
The last new case on display was the MasterFrame 360 Panorama S. This case features a unique center column design for mounting hardware that is surrounded on all sides by glass. This is going to give you maximum visibility into your system and there is even a place at the front for you to show off a character. We were told that there will be a version of the case where this section will be an LCD display. Cooler Master is shooting for a price point on this case of $199.99.
Cooler Master 3D Heatpipe CPU Coolers
Cooler Master’s 3D Heatpipe CPU coolers are finally coming to market! If you are not familiar with 3D heatpipe technology it is unlike traditional heatpipe design where heatpipes are placed around the edges of a heatsink, this new design places them through the center. This leads to more efficient cooling and better heat distribution.
The first 3D heatpipe cooler will be the iconic Hyper 212, this will be called the Hyper 212 3DHP. This is a single-tower, single-fan cooler that will feature only two normal heatpipes in addition to the 3D heatpipes. This is of course because of the efficiency and performance of the 3D heatpipe. The fan itself is a 120mm fan that runs at 2050 RPM, pushing up to 63.1 CFM of airflow at 2.69 mm H₂O of static pressure, and a maximum noise output of 27 dBA. There will be a normal version of the cooler with a black fan which will be $29.99 and then an ARGB version with an ARGB fan that will be $34.99.
They were also showing off the single-tower, dual-fan V4 Alpha 3DHP. Now Cooler Master has designed this cooler with more of a sleek top-cap which they say is fashioned after an EV engine. Just like the Hyper 212 this cooler only needs two traditional heatpipes to provide great cooling power. This cooler will retail for $39.99.
Cooler Master MasterFan Series
Cooler Master was also showing off their new MasterFan series of fans. These will have 3 different series. First up is the A Series, which has an all aluminum deisgn. So the frame, blades, and fan grill are all made of aluminum. The A Series fans will spin up to 4000 RPM as well! The M Series is going to be your hybrid fan with the frame being aluminum and the blades being plastic. Finally we have the R series which is made of all plastic.
These fans are also going to be thicker at 30mm and be available in both 120mm and 140mm versions. Expect to see these in late Q4 of this year or early Q1 of 2026.
