Opening up the drive is very simple, you just remove 2 screws from each side of the drive. Upon opening the drive up we can see the PCB is extremely small, about half the size of the typical PCB we see inside 2.5-inch solid state drives. There are four NAND chips on this size, which are labeled as ADATA. From what we know this is Micron MLC NAND flash.

Removing 3 more screws we can take the PCB completely out. Flipping it over there are four more NAND chips, the Silicon Motion SM2246EN four channel controller and a NANYA 256MB DDR3 DRAM cache chip.
