At AMD’s GPU 14 event they have just revealed all of the cards in the R9 2XX Series and the R7 2XX Series. These graphics cards are based on an improved version of the graphics core next architecture. The R9 series is made up of the R9 290X, R9 280X and R9 270X. The R7 series is made up of the R7 260X and R7 250.

To start out with the flagship R9 290X, it features close to 3000 stream processors, and a 512-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface holding 4 GB of memory. There is little information yet on the price or other details of the card as the AMD event is still going on.

Moving down the R9 Series we have the R9 280X and R9 270X

Finally we have the R7 series which includes the R7 260X and R7 250.
