AMD Confirms their Processors are Unaffected by RIDL and Fallout Vulnerabilities

AMD has put out a statement on their Product Security page which more or less confirms that their processors are unaffected by the RIDL (Rogue In-Flight Data Load) and Fallout vulnerabilities. They have worded the statement in a certian way just to be safe though, “we believe our products are not susceptible to ‘Fallout’ or ‘RIDL’ because of the hardware protection checks in our architecture. We have not been able to demonstrate these exploits on AMD products and are unaware of others having done so.”

The “Fallout” vulnerability that AMD references in their statement is part of the four MDS vulnerabilities found that affect Intel processors.
