AMD Could Be Launching New Navi GPUs Soon

During AMD’s Q2 earnings Q&A conference president and CEO Lisa Su was asked a very interesting question. When asked about high-end Navi GPUs she answered, “I would say they are coming. You should expect that our execution on those are on track and we have a rich 7 nm portfolio beyond the products that we have already announced in the upcoming quarters.”

This answer makes us tend to think that we have more powerful Navi GPUs coming, possibly by the end of the year. We’ve already seen some leaks about a possible Radeon RX 5800 and we’ve been hearing rumors of a Radeon RX 5900. The Radeon RX 5800 is said to be based off the Navi 12 GPU, while any details on the Radeon RX 5900 are unknown.
