AMD Radeon RX 590 and RX 580 To Receive Price Cuts

AMD will soon be cutting the prices on their Radeon RX 590 and Radeon RX 580 graphics cards. According to the rumor the Radeon RX 590 will be dropped down to $229 while the Radeon RX 580 will be $199. With the release of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1660 Ti cards and other lower-end cards coming it makes sense for AMD to cut these prices.

Both cards offer the same configuration with 2304 stream processors, 144 TMUs and 32 ROPs. They also have the same memory configuration with 8 GB GDDR5 VRAM, running across a 256-bit wide bus interface at a clock speed of 8000 MHz. The only real difference between the cards is their manufacturing process and clock speeds. The Radeon RX 590 uses the 12 nm process and has clock speeds of 1545 MHz while the Radeon RX 580 uses the 14 nm process and has clock speeds of 1340 MHz.

Expect these price-cuts to appear in a couple of weeks.
