AMD Ryzen 7 4700G Renoir spotted overclocked to 4.65 GHz

AMD recently revealed their 3300XT Matisse refresh of processors, and they’re all set for another reveal soon. This reveal will finally debut the Ryzen 4000 series chipsets, also called Renoir. The flagship processor in the Renoir range, the 4700G was recently spotted with an impressive overclock. Read on!

The build came from someone in Asia who managed to get their hands on the 4700G and put it through Cinebench. The listing was found through ITCooker. The build had an 4700G engineering sample paired with 16 GB dual-channel DDR4-4266 MHz memory, and a 240 mm AIO.

The 4700G chipset has a base frequency of 3.60 GHz, and this overclock showed it go up to 4.65 GHz. The chip at 4.65 GHz frequency scored 217 points in the single-threaded test, and 2306 points in the multi-threaded test on Cinebench15. At 4.54 GHz it scored 5336 points in Cinebench R20.
