AMD Ryzen 9 3950X is 24% Faster than the Intel Core i9-10980XE in Leaked Benchmark

New leaked benchmarks for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 9 3950X have been leaked by TUM_APISAK, which show the processor scoring a 32082 Physics scored in 3DMark’s Fire Strike benchmark. The Ryzen 9 3950X was paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 570 AORUS Elite Motherboard, and 16GB of Kingston DDR4 memory.

When comparing this physics score to an earlier score of an Intel Core i9-10980XE it beats it by about 24 percent (32,082 vs. 25,838), even though the Ryzen 9 3950X has two less cores. The two tests were done on different systems though. The Core i9-10980XE was paired with a RTX 2070 and 32GB of quad-channel memory at 2666MHz.

Keep in mind this is not really a direct comparison either as the Core i9-10980XE is part of Intel’s HEDT lineup while the Ryzen 9 3950X is part of AMD’s mainstream lineup.
