While AMD’s Ryzen 9 3900X is quite the beast itself, AMD still has a flagship processor that have not released yet, the Ryzen 9 3950X. This processor is going to be a 16-core, 32-thread part with a base clock of 3.5 GHz and a boost clock of 4.7 GHz. While AMD did tell us the processor would be available in September, they did not give a concrete date. Well the processor has showed up at online retailer digitec.ch.
The Swiss retailer has to processor priced at 999 Swiss francs, which is right around $1000 USD. One interesting thing about the listing is that it says sales of the processor start of September 30th. So it appears that it the date that AMD will be releasing the processor.
