It has been about a weeks since EA released Apex Legends, the free-to-play battle royale game. While I was not all that excited about it, I did download it and give it a shot. I have to say I was very impressed and it is quite a lot of fun to play.
It seems I am not the only one who thinks that. In a report from The Star, EA has said that in just three days since its launch it has gained over 10 million unique players! That is pretty impressive. As of this morning it still sits at the #1 spot on Twitch for active viewers.
This success has definitely helped EA revitalize their stock figures as sales were up 16% on Friday. The big question is if EA can keep the success of the game up or will it fade over time? I guess time will tell, but so far this game is a success!
