A new report from DigiTimes also shares some information on the mini-LED display backlighting technology and how this technology will be available to the public in 2021. The report also mentions that this move will be beneficial for Apple’s supply chain partners. The report also states that Apple will launch the mini-LED display technology-based iPad Pro in the first half of 2021 while the and MacBook featuring mini-LED will enter production in Q2 2021.
To gain orders from Apple, various Taiwan-based manufacturers are trying to come into the spotlight by portraying that they are prepared for production. The report states:
