Some of the first pictures of ASRock’s Radeon RX 590 Phantom Gaming graphics card have been leaked to the web. The Radeon RX 590 is an optical shrink of the “Polaris 20” silicon down to 12 nm FinFET process, which allows AMD and its partners to increase GPU clock speeds.
The card appears to be quite similar to the RX 580 Phantom Gaming X, with slight changed to the shroud design. The card is still drawing power from a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector. There is no mention of clock speeds, but guessing the RX 590 could be clocked well above 1500 MHz out of the box, compared to the 1445 MHz of the RX 580 Phantom Gaming X in “OC Mode”.
