Graphics Card Powerhouse: The ProArt RTX 5090

ASUS is showcasing their new ProArt RTX 5090, and it’s packed with some serious cooling tech. You’ll find large 115mm fans, and what’s really interesting is the use of liquid metal on the GPU itself. This should help keep things much cooler. The card also has a double-vented design on the back, with the ProArt logo right in the middle. A neat feature you don’t see on many other RTX 5090s is a Type-C port on the back of the card. They’ve also designed the power connector to angle outwards, which is smart if you’re stacking multiple cards in a system. Pricing isn’t official yet, but it’s expected to be below the Astral model.

Motherboard Marvel: ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial

This all-white motherboard is a real head-turner. The ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial features a white PCB and a really smart design for the front-edge connections, making cable routing a breeze. One of the standout features is the easy graphics card lock and release lever. You can easily secure or remove your GPU with this simple mechanism. The top M.2 slots have a heatsink with a 3D vapor chamber for better cooling. Plus, there’s a 5-inch IPS display to show your system stats. What’s really unique is a hidden section with pogo connections that allows you to attach a fan module for high-frequency memory cooling. The bottom connections are also covered by a plate for a clean look, and it even comes with a magnetic stand for your case. It also ships with a DIM.2 card for an extra M.2 drive. Expect this board in early Q1, with a price around $1,100.

Case Innovation: ROG Kronox

ASUS might not be known for cases, but the ROG Kronox is pretty impressive. It features a single, curved tempered glass panel. This case supports a whopping 14 fans, and they’ve included cool angled brackets so you can direct airflow precisely. It supports extended ATX motherboards and comes with an integrated LCD display right on the front. This LCD is fully controllable via software, allowing you to display system stats across six different sections. Connectivity is plentiful, with multiple USB ports, and the Type-C ports offer 60-watt power delivery if your motherboard supports it. The front of the case has the ROG logo and “Republic of Gamers” branding. Look for this in late February for $399.

Cooling Redefined: ROG Strix SLC IV 360 ARGB LCD AIO

This white AIO cooler, also available in black, is pretty slick. The ROG Strix SLC IV 360 ARGB LCD has a unique feature: no wires coming from the pump block itself. ASUS is designing motherboards with pogo-style connections, so you just install the block, and it connects directly. It has a nice illuminated accent piece at the top. The fans are a single-piece design, making installation easier. The LCD is a 5-inch IPS display with a 720×720 resolution. While the fans aren’t fully RGB, they have RGB accents in the center. Pricing is TBD, but expect it in early Q1.

The ROG Kithara headphones are designed to bridge the gap between audiophile and gaming headsets. These feature an open-back design for a natural soundstage and are incredibly comfortable, with a metal headband. The drivers are 100mm planar magnetic, which are typically found in high-end audio gear. These are expected to sound amazing for both gamers and music lovers. They’ll be available later this year for $299.

For open-ear listening, ASUS has the ROG Cetra Open Wireless earbuds. These sit on your ears for comfort, making them great for extended wear. They’re designed for lifestyle use, not just gaming, so you can wear them to the gym or just casually. They come with ear tips for a secure fit and an optional neck strap for intense activities. While they offer Bluetooth, they also include a low-latency connector for a 2.4 GHz connection, perfect for gaming. They have touch controls on top and offer 16 hours of battery life without RGB, plus more with the charging case. Audio quality is reported to be excellent, even in noisy environments.
