ASUS Launches GeForce GTX 950 with Slot-Only Power

ASUS has just released a new GeForce GTX 950 graphics card that has not PCI-Express power connectors and relies entirely on PCI-Express slot power. The GTX950-2G has a full-height, dual slot design with a pair of 70 mm fans and heatsink cooling it.

The shroud has a white design with blue and silver accents, which matches ASUS’s mainline Z170 series motherboards. ASUS uses a VRM design that keep the board power up 75W, which is why it only relies on PCI-Express slot power. The GPU is clocked at 1026 MHz, with a GPU boost up to 1190 MHz and the memory is set at 6.60 GHz (GDDR5-effective). No word yet on pricing.
