Back in CES 2021, ASUS announced three monitors, out of which the ROG Strix XG43UQ is available for pre-order now. It is a 43-inch monitor. The monitor is based on a 4K VA-type panel that has a 4K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, along with a 1ms response time.
The XG43UQ is equipped with four HDMI ports where two of the ports are HDMI 2.1, and the rest two are HDMI 2.0. It also supports FreeSync Premium Pro, VRR, DSC, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALMM). The panel provides 90% of DCI-P3 color space coverage. Compliance with HDR1000 specifications gives it a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
It can be said that 43 inch sized monitors are perfect for gaming since the most common available sizes, 27 and 32 inch 4K panels, still require the windows scaling option to be modified by at least 125%.
You can preorder the ASUS XG43UQ for 1,349 GBP (1,878 USD). The shipping date isn’t specified yet as some shops claim that it will arrive by April while others are promising delivery in May.
